Sonrise International exists in order to open up the bottleneck of laborers to the remaining mission fields among the least reached people, currently in the WACA (West and Central Africa) region. (The WACA region consists of 24 countries.)
Sonrise International is currently working in partnership with World Mission Centre on a project in the WACA region to assist local national churches there to train, mentor and disciple select members of their churches in the WACA region, in order to effectively mobilize them to make disciples and plant churches among the least reached and unreached.
Sonrise International also assists the national church in Malawi and Mozambique to use a literacy designed by Literacy and Evangelism International, Inc. to make disciples among the Yao people. The primers use Bible stories and introduce the students to Jesus as they learn to read.
